About Training & Employment Consortium

Welcome to Training & Employment Consortium (TEC).  TEC was established under chapter 190 of the Oregon Revised Statues as a consortium of governments in 1976 by a group of five counties (Baker, Union, Wallowa, Harney, and Malheur) which wanted to provide a local government based vehicle that can legally accept grants, sub grants, and contracts designed to alleviate conditions of unemployment and underemployment within the five counties. In 1992 TEC expanded to include Grant County.  TEC is governed by two county judges and four county commissioners, one for each county participating in the Consortium. Whether you are looking for a job, qualified employees, or education and training information; we can help.
